A Journey Through Gin
Danesfield House is calling all gin connoisseurs to join them on Thursday 24th July 2014 for a Gin Tasting Evening with Drink Expert Joel Harrison, plus a three course dinner and tasting session.
The evening commences at 7.00pm with a Gin & Tonic on arrival on the Terrace, followed by an introduction to gin by Joel Harrison.
The dinner, served in the Chiltern Suite, will include a starter of Marinated Scottish Salmon, Cucumber & Coriander, Dressed Leaves and Sweet Mustard Dressing.
A main course of a Saddle of Venison, Spinach, Fondant Potato, Gin and Juniper Jus will be followed by a Gin Martini, plus an Elderflower Sorbet as a pallet cleanser.
Throughout the evening, Drinks Writer and Spirit Consultant Joel Harrison will be sharing his expert gin knowledge during an informal talk with guests.
Joel regularly writes articles for Whisky Magazine and The Drinks Business. He also has a monthly drinks column in The Wall Street Journal India and has made appearances on major daytime TV and radio shows across the UK, US and India.
Danesfield House will be using its own botanicals to make a House Gin, which guests will be able to sample on the night during the tasting session.
Due to the intimate and informal nature of the evening, there are only 35 exclusive tickets for sale, priced at £60.00 per person.
